Linqia

The advertising world is changing at an extremely fast pace, as technology evolves. From newspapers and pole-ads to blogs, forums and web magazines, this market has seen a rapid change and the need for adaptability from both brands and the people wanting to be paid for showing ads.

The regular blogger will try to reach a significant audience in order to apply to affiliate marketing and Google ads on their blog/website and gain revenue from ad sharing or sales.

However, the founders at Linqia, Nader Alizadeh (also President of the Startup) and Maria Sipka (CEO) have turned the table around. Their system helps both sides of the advertising business, by finding the best websites on which the brands should post their ads.

This system leads to more organized campaigns and also obligates bloggers to create high-quality content and attract really interested visitors. At one point the blogging world became (and still is) over-saturated with spun copies of the same website or blog, that brands find it hard to reach their audience. An interested individual in a certain niche is able to recognize these websites and even if he will click once or twice, they will leave and never come back.

The system provided by Linqia has proven to be of interest for investors as well, the Startup raising $3.4M.

2012-09-13 – Series A – $3.4M from: Commerce Ventures and Javelin Venture Partners.

Today, they are no.1 in our top 10 most growing San Francisco Startups, with a 121% M/M Growth and 870,334 monthly estimated unique visitors. We wish them good luck!

They have also received exposure in the media channels, being present in featured articles by TehcCrunch, VentureBeat, Lifehacker, The Huffington Post and Wall Street Journal.

Today they rank on the second place of our top 10 most growing San Francisco Startups, with 265,330 monthly estimated unique visitors and a M/M growth of 76%.

Vero

The 3rd place in our top 10 most growing San Francisco Startups is Vero, a Startup founded by 3 Australians, Chris Hexton, James Lamont and Damien Brzoska. The company’s main statement is:

“Email like Amazon. Your customers are individuals: send personalized emails and increase your conversions.”

As it can be understood from their own belief, Vero is Email marketing Startup that focuses on event-based personalized emails, in order to attract customers. The most basic example is an email sent after a shopping cart has been abandoned, with an offer to come back or even discounts.

They believe in the individuality of every person out there, and for those who are more or less beginning to understand the email marketing industry, read the Vero blog. It is extremely helpful!
