MySupermarket The New York “Rocket Company”!

Mysupermarket is the The New York “Rocket Companies” of this week, Compliments Guys! The start-up was founded in 2006 (Ye is not so young)  with the mission “to find shoppers the best price for the brands they want and need”, a new way to shop for the essentials online. We think it’s cool and useful, but it’s too early to understand the real trend.  Let’s see a video to understand how it works.

MySupermarket raised 32,8 M, in 6 different rounds from Greylock Partners, Pitango Venture Capital and works in USA and UK

Petflow – New York Fastest Growing Startups Goes Speechless

Reaching to our speechless friends and encouraging pet owners all around the US to care for them as the members of the family they truly are, Petflow is the largest online pet store and delivery service among our New York Fastest Growing Startups.

The basic concept they rely on is that pets need care and attention. They deserve respect for being unconditionally friends and for waiting each day for us to come home. They deserve the best, and not just ordinary food bought from the groceries stores.

Since everyone know its cheaper to buy in bulk, they created a partnership with FedEx to deliver the purchase right at your door. So any pet owner doesn’t have to buy 2 bags of 15lbs, because he cannot carry 1 bag of 30lbs.

Beside that, they have almost 150 brands of pet food, supplies and treats, to satisfy any potential customer.

Original co-founders Alex Zhardanovsky and Joe Speiser declare about their company:

And that’s what it’s all about, isn’t it? Helping you save time and money while making sure you can keep your little furballs happy and healthy? Thank you for being a customer. We love your pets!

Petflow was founded in January 2010, but has managed to raise $15M in funding, in Series A and B, from Westwood Ventures (series A – $5M – November 9, 2010) and Lightspeed Venture Partners (series B – $10M –  July 6, 2011)
