Livonia, Mich. – Nov. 30, 2007 – Quicken Loans/Rock Financial has been recognized by Vista Maria, a Dearborn Heights, Mich. non-profit service agency, as its 2007 Outstanding Corporate Partner. Through its award-winning Community DIFF program, Quicken Loans has assisted the organization with various initiatives, including its two largest fundraisers, by helping to increase exposure, media coverage and financial contributions.
Vista Maria is Michigan’s largest non-profit residential and community-based treatment agency for abused and neglected girls. It serves girls ages 11-17 who are in need of treatment for mental health, substance abuse, trauma recovery, and other psychosocial issues.

“Quicken Loans’ commitment to corporate responsibility and demonstrated commitment to the children of Vista Maria is a shining example of changing the community one life at a time,” said Cameron D. Hosner, President and CEO of Vista Maria.

This latest award is one of several that Quicken Loans’ Community DIFF program has received. In July, the company received the 2007 Madeline Kafoury Memorial Cup for first place in a food drive competition between local companies. The company also received the 2006 Corporate Champion Heroes award from the Southeast Michigan Red Cross for its support of disaster relief following Hurricane Katrina; ongoing sponsorship and participation in blood and blanket drives, and its efforts to train team members in the use of automatic electronic defibrillators.

The Quicken Loans Community DIFF Team helps coordinate team member volunteer activities in Michigan, Ohio and Arizona. Last year the company made financial donations to 250 non-profit and charitable organizations. Team members have volunteered thousands of hours at area food banks, soup kitchens, hospitals and in support of fund-raisers like the March of Dimes, Red Cross and the Tammy Z Fund at the Karmanos Cancer Institute.
