-Students experience unique culture and great jobs in southeast Michigan-

Livonia, Mich. – April 10, 2008 – Quicken Loans (Rock Financial), Fortune Magazine’s 2nd best place to work in America, is hosting 30 students from Detroit’s Cass Tech High School for a Job Shadow Day from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Thursday, April 10.

The students, sponsored by Southeastern Michigan Junior Achievement (JA), will shadow CEO Bill Emerson and other Quicken Loans employees in various occupations including mortgage banking, information technology, marketing, Fathead, InHouse Reality, leadership training and human resources.

“We are partnering with JA to show area students that there are some really great career opportunities in southeast Michigan,” said Bill Emerson, CEO of Quicken Loans. “We are hiring about 100 people a month, so this is a great opportunity to show off what we believe is a very exciting company and culture. We want these students to understand that, whether they choose a career here or elsewhere, it’s important to be passionate about the work they do and to choose a company that will value their contributions. Of course, at the end of the day, we hope students will consider a career with us in the future.”

The students will begin their day with a resume writing session and an overview of the different teams and jobs within the company. The students will then spend several hours one-on-one with Quicken Loans team members in fields in which the students have expressed interest.

The job shadow day will take place at the Quicken Loans office, located at 20555 Victor Parkway, Livonia, MI 48152.
